Returning letter winners (starters): Eight (five)

Outlook: The defending Class 4A state champions have a few holes to fill after graduation took away half of the team’s starting lineup.

Still, Palo Verde has had one of the state’s deepest programs for several years.

Expect the Panthers to not miss a beat this season.
