1A SOUTHERN: Freund’s shutout lifts Lake Mead over Indian Springs
Lynzee Freund tossed a three-hit shutout to help Lake Mead’s softball team to an 18-0 victory over Indian Springs in the Class 1A Southern Region tournament Thursday at Alamo.
Fruend struck out 10 and walked one.
The Eagles (13-14-1) managed just three hits, but were helped by 12 errors by Indian Springs (10-9).
Pahranagat Valley 12, Tonopah 1 — At Alamo, Roxie Lasike was 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs to lead the Panthers over the Muckers (7-10).
Tami Spencer added two hits, and Addie Canning pitched a two-hitter for the Panthers (16-8-1).
