Roundup: Yadira Erives leads Cheyenne past Las Vegas

Yadira Erives scored two goals as the Cheyenne girls soccer team stormed to a 3-0 halftime lead and held on for a 3-1 home win over Las Vegas High on Wednesday.

Maria Borrero added a goal and an assist for the Desert Shields.

Liberty 3, Rancho 0 — At Liberty, London Pavlica had a goal and an assist as the Patriots beat the Rams.

Arianna Gonzalez and Josephine Camacho each scored for Liberty, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Leila McLean and Ashley Bongiovanni split the shutout in goal.

Shadow Ridge 7, Clark 0 — At Clark, Joey Wright had a goal and three assists as the Mustangs routed the Chargers.

Camryn Grant, Adriana Mendez, Kaitlyn Banks, Jazmine Adame, Alyssa Sachs and Reese Simmons each scored for the Mustangs.

Tieg Simmons and Cassandra Tolton split Shadow Ridge’s shutout with two saves apiece.

Cimarron-Memorial 7, Durango 0 — At Cimarron, Kaylee Nerio, Justice Rodriguez and Samantha Silva each scored two goals to help lead the Spartans past the Trailblazers.

Nancy DeLaTorre also scored for Cimarron, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Centennial 8, Bonanza 0 — At Centennial, Marcella Brooks had three goals and an assist, and Quincy Bonds added three goals to lead the Bulldogs in a rout of the Bengals.

Dona Acierto and Dawn Frederick each had a goal and an assist for Centennial, which led 6-0 at halftime.
