Roundup: Taylor Book, Coronado blank Desert Oasis

Coronado’s Jensen Boman had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars’ girls soccer team to a 3-0 win at Desert Oasis on Monday.

Makenna Curcuru and Alysa Caso each added a goal for Coronado, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Taylor Book recorded the shutout with six saves.

Pahrump Valley 1, Western 1 — At Western, Caro Acosta scored midway through the second half for the Warriors to force a draw against the Trojans.

Kaitlyn Carrington scored Pahrump’s goal in the first half.

Centennial 8, Faith Lutheran 3 — At Centennial, Marcella Brooks had three goals and two assists in the Bulldogs’ offensive explosion against the Crusaders.

Quincy Bonds had two goals and two assists, Dona Acierto scored twice, and Lauren Levoyer had a goal and an assist for Centennial, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Maggie Shuirman, Amelia McManus and Riley Divich each scored a goal for the Crusaders.

Shadow Ridge 6, Legacy 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Kaitlyn Banks scored twice to lead the Mustangs over the Longhorns.

Taylore Simmons had a goal and two assists for Shadow Ridge. Camryn Grant had a goal and an assist, and Samantha Villa and Reese Simmons each scored once for the Mustangs.

Isabella Skrinjaric scored for the Longhorns.

Arbor View 7, Tech 0 — At Tech, Jolianna Meyers scored three goals, and Deja Erickson added two goals in the Aggies’ rout of the Roadrunners.

Abby Cassano and Kylie Walls each added a goal, and Sierra Vicente had two assists for Arbor View, which led 6-0 at halftime.

Krystin Cooper made two saves in the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 8, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Alexandra Trinidad scored twice as the Miners routed the Rattlers.

Briana Torres-Chavez, Yovana Alvidrez, Stephany Saucedo, Fatima Carrillo-Cornejo, Kimberly Garcia and Irlanda Osuna-Arcineda each added a goal for Sunrise Mountain.

Christina Lark and Macy Stevens combined on the shutout.

Palo Verde 9, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Palo Verde, Madison Hernandez and Olivia Packer each scored four goals as the Panthers rolled past the Spartans.

Hernandez also had an assist, and Carlee Giammona added a goal and two assists for Palo Verde, which led 8-0 at halftime.

Taylor Rath was in goal for the shutout.
