Roundup: Silverado slides by Spring Valley

Silverado’s Kristyn Lommason and Vanessa Gallegos each scored second-half goals and the visiting Skyhawks blanked Spring Valley in girls soccer on Thursday, 2-0.

Coronado 5, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Simone Hottentot, Gianna Irungaray and Alysa Caso each scored a goal and had an assist to lead the Cougars past the Mountain Lions.

Kaitlyn Kowalchuk and Haley Meusy each scored goals for the Cougars. Alexis Pashales had an assist for the Cougars.

Amani Felipe scored a goal and had an assist to lead the Mountain Lions.

Janessi Diaz also scored for Sierra Vista, while Kayla Sanguinetti dished out an assist.

Bishop Gorman 4, Tech 0 — At Tech, the Gaels jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead and topped the Roadrunners.

Gianna Gourley, Ashtyn Fink, Camden Berry and Samantha Nieves each had a goal for Gorman. Gourley and Fink also had assists.

Kirsten Kircher and Maris Findlay split the Gaels’ shutout.

Liberty 5, Durango 0 — At Durango, Jordyn McCollum and Mia Edwards scored two goals apiece to help the Patriots skunk the Trailblazers.

Michelle Suria had a goal and an assist for Liberty, and Jordyn Peters added two assists.

Josephine Hartl and Ashley Bongiovanni combined to record the clean sheet.

Valley 1, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, the Vikings and Dragons played to a tie.

Mia Espinoza scored for Del Sol, and Georgia Gardner scored for Valley.

Green Valley 5, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Jazlyn Camacho had two goals to help the Gators blank the Wolves.

Taylor O’Neill, Alyssa Marquez and Madison Cox added goals for Green Valley.

Nicolette De La Carerra made five saves for the clean sheet.

Desert Oasis 8, Clark 0 — At Desert Oasis, Alexandra Houston scored three goals to lead the Diamondbacks past the Chargers.

Audrey Dunn scored two goals and had two assists, Endya Scott scored two goals, and Lauren Darensbourg added a goal.

Cortney Smith, Madeline Nelson, Mikayla Anderson and Morgan Wenzlau each had an assist for the Diamondbacks.

Samantha Gato had four saves to record the shutout in goal.
