ROUNDUP: Sellitti shines as Coronado stays unbeaten

Danny Sellitti registered a six-save shutout and assisted on the lone goal Thursday as Coronado’s boys soccer team ran its season-long unbeaten streak to 18 matches by nipping visiting Silverado, 1-0.
Manny Penagos scored for Coronado, which improved its record to 11-0-7 overall and 7-0-5 in the Southeast.
The win was also the Cougars’ 12th shutout of the year.
Del Sol 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Roberto Perez, Vincent Aldana and Jose Osorio scored goals to help the Dragons defeat the Wolves.
Jesse Romero notched two assists for Del Sol, and teammate Gerardo Mendoza logged the shutout in goal.
Tech 3, Green Valley 0 — At Tech, Edwin Lopez had a goal and an assist to lead the Roadrunners past the Gators.
Julio Vargas and Jesus Herrera also scored for Tech.
Abdel Rodriquez was in goal to earn the shutout for the Roadrunners.
Foothill 5, Liberty 1 — At Foothill, Christian Volesky notched four goals and an assist to lead the Falcons past Liberty.
Andy Rodriguez added Foothill’s other goal.
Daniel Musovski tallied Liberty’s lone score.
Las Vegas 0, Desert Pines 0 — At Las Vegas High, the Wildcats and the Jaguars battled to a scoreless tie.
Rogelio Zaragoza picked up the shutout for Las Vegas, and Angel Guzman did the same for Desert Pines.
Eldorado 3, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Eldorado, Aaron Vidales, Luis Cruz and Eric Loaiza each scored a goal as the Sundevils held off the Miners.
Mario Ahumanda and Oscar Osuna each scored for Sunrise Mountain.
Rancho 2, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Elligio Herrera and Lehi Calzo scored first-half goals to help the Rams shut out the Cowboys.
Johnny Amora was in goal for Rancho.
GIRLS
Faith Lutheran 3, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Pahrump, Dani Theraldson scored twice and Kendall Pori added a goal as the Crusaders edged the Trojans.
Erika Manning distributed two assists for Faith Lutheran, which did all of its scoring in the first half.
Leanne Morrow and Melissa Ewing scored for Pahrump.
Boulder City 3, Virgin Valley 0 — At Boulder City, Tasja Toumasis scored three second-half goals to help the Eagles blank the Bulldogs.
Ashlyn Jorgensen notched two assists for Boulder City, and teammate Mikaela Stevens earned the shutout.
