Roundup: Second-half goal pushes Faith Lutheran past Palo Verde

Maggie Shuirman scored in the second half to boost Faith Lutheran’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 home victory over Palo Verde on Friday afternoon.

Shuirman’s goal was assisted by Riley Divich.

Crusaders keeper Jordan Brown made three saves to earn the clean sheet.

Eldorado 8, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Isabella Sama scored three goals to help the Sundevils blank the Rattlers.

Angelica Lamas scored two goals for Eldorado, and Maddy Pewtress, Jamilet Martinez and Dina Goc-Ong had one goal apiece.

Cynthia Barrientos was credited with the shutout.
