Roundup: Moapa Valley squeaks by Boulder CIty

Christie Ericksen and Kilee Fisher each had a goal as Moapa Valley’s girls soccer team edged Boulder City for a 2-1 victory on Tuesday afternoon.

Madison Manns scored for the Eagles.

Green Valley 1, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Isabel Madrid scored off a corner kick by Maggie Bender in the first half as the Gators edged the Patriots.

Ryan Sabol got credit for the shutout.

Sierra Vista 2, Clark 0 — At Sierra Vista, Jamie Kalaau-Sunia made six saves in the Mountain Lions’ shutout of the Chargers.

Michaela Budnick and Adrienne Hallock had Sierra Vista’s goals.

Foothill 6, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Brooke Vokoun scored four goals to lead the Falcons over the Skyhawks.

Alexis Huff and Amanda Carducci scored for the Falcons, who scored four times in the second half.

Foothill keepers Gianna Perri and Felicity Reimann split the shutout.

Spring Valley 2, Durango 0 — At Spring Valley, Mackenzie Carcelli and Maribel Gomez scored to lift the Grizzlies to a 2-0 victory over Durango.

Sasha Centeno posted a shutout for Spring Valley.

Tech 5, Somerset-Sky Pointe 0 — At Tech, Alysia Mestas scored twice, and Valerie Webb had three assists in the Roadrunners’ victory over the Eagles.

Citlali Aguila, Adrianna Carrillo and Joleen Alvarado also scored for Tech.

Chloe Dody had seven saves in the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 3, Desert Oasis 1 — At Gorman, Gianna Gourley scored three goals to lead the Gaels past the Diamondbacks.

Kevyn Hillegas, Jacqueline Hillegas and Jaden Terrana each had an assist for Gorman, which jumped out to a 3-0 lead.

Mia Blitsch scored with 20 minutes left for Desert Oasis.

Virgin Valley 8, Chaparral 0 — At Mesquite, Ally Wright supplied two goals and an assist as the Bulldogs routed the Cowboys.

Rainee Brito had a goal and two assists, and teammate Kallie Graves added a goal and an assist for Virgin Valley. Nathalie Lagamayo, Katie Zuniga, Paola Garcia and Zoey Tobler also scored for the Bulldogs.

Goalkeepers Alyson Cook and Nathalie Lagamayo combined on the shutout for Virgin Valley.

Coronado 10, Basic 0 — At Coronado, the Cougars rolled to a 10-0 victory over Basic.

Kaitlyn Kowalchuk scored twice. Katelyn Moxley, Teagan Tenwolde, Makenna Curcuru, Brenna Heenan, Simone Hottentot, Haley Meusy, Alysa Caso and Leili Rosenberg all added goals for Coronado.
