GIRLS SOCCER: Western holds off visiting Cheyenne

Western’s Ellyson Reynada and Kirsten Molina each had a goal and an assist Wednesday as the Warriors held off Cheyenne for a 3-2 home victory.

Katherine Realegeno also scored for Western, which got an assist from Angela Corona-Perez.

Yadira Erives and Maria Borrero scored for the Desert Shields.

Eldorado 5, Canyon Springs 4 — At Eldorado, Brianna Duran had four goals and an assist as the Sundevils took down the Pioneers.

Karla Moncayo added a goal for Eldorado, which led 3-0 at the half.

Lesley Perez scored twice for Canyon Springs, and Alianna Carrison and Josefina Hernandez each added a goal for the Pioneers.

Shadow Ridge 1, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Samantha Villa’s second-half goal broke the scoreless tie and lifted the Mustangs over the Crusaders.

Shadow Ridge’s Elin Larsson saved all four shots on goal in the shutout.

Cheyenne Banks assisted on Villa’s goal.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Brisa Pena-Martinez scored two goals to carry the Miners over the Jaguars.

Brianna Torres-Chavez had Sunrise Mountain’s other goal.

Cindy Gramajo scored for Desert Pines.

Las Vegas 4, Valley 1 — At Valley, Maria Hernandez scored two goals to send the Wildcats by the Vikings.

Tabitha Maldonado added a goal, and Leslie Garcia-Pedraza had a goal and an assist for Las Vegas, which got two assists from Deisy Lopez.

Robin Yuan scored for Valley.

Arbor View 6, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Hannah Ferrara tallied two goals and two assists as the Aggies shut down the Spartans.

Sierra Vicente, Preshus McCraney, Deja Erickson and Alyssa Larkin each added a goal for Arbor View.

Goalkeeper Haylee Niemann recorded the shutout for the Aggies.

Pahrump Valley 6, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Kathy Niles and Vaniah Vitto each scored two goals, and Sydney Dennis tallied a goal and two assists as the Trojans blanked the Rattlers.

Kaitlyn Carrington added a goal for Pahrump Valley, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Samantha Runnion made four saves and got the shutout for the Trojans.
