GIRLS SOCCER: Sydnie Hopkins has goal, assist in Basic shutout of Desert Pines

Sydnie Hopkins had a goal and an assist to lift the Basic girls soccer team to a 2-0 home victory over Desert Pines.

Allyson Lieber also scored for the Wolves in the second half after the teams were scoreless at halftime.

Heavyn Lopez assisted on Hopkins’ goal.

Bryanna Johnason was credited with the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 0, Coronado 0 — At Gorman, the Gaels and Cougars played to a scoreless draw.

Gorman’s Kirsten Kircher and Emilie Hong combined on the shutout with each makihng a save.

Rachel Morris had the shutout for Coronado, making nine saves.

Bonanza 0, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, the Bengals and Grizzlies played to a scoreless tie.

Bonanza goalkeeper Alicia Kestner made six saves. Mackenzie Carcelli also had six saves for Spring Valley to earn the shutout.

Clark 6, Durango 0 — At Clark, Dona Acierto and Jackie Gonzalez each had two goals in the Chargers’ rout of the Trailblazers.

Laura Barraza and Shelia Malley had the other Clark goals.

Acierto had two assists for the Chargers.

Jackie Gonzalez and Kanoe Mores combined on the shutout.

Green Valley 9, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Alexis Kirson had four goals and two assists, and Emberly Sevilla added two goals and two assists as the Gators beat the Pioneers.

Jazlyn Hall and Hailey Thomas each had a goal and an assist, and Mariah Neshkoff also scored for Green Valley.

Maggie Bender notched three assists for the Gators.

Ryan Sabol (one save) and Alexa Eastep (three saves) combined on the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 8, Boulder City 1 — At Pahrump, Kaitlyn Carrington and Sydney Dennis each scored three goals as the Trojans routed the Eagles.

Grace Gundacker and Makenzie Lunetto also scored for Pahrump.

Elizabeth Taggard had Boulder City’s goal.

Silverado 2, Tech 0 — At Silverado, Kristyn Lommason scored in the 25th minute to give the Skyhawks the win over the Roadrunners.

Melina Amador also scored for Silverado.

Mikaila Becze had the shutout.

Valley 6, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, three players each scored twice as Vikings defeated the Rattlers.

Georgia Gardner, Alondra Ysita and Caymbrea Neal each scored twice for Valley.

Marilyn Membreno scored for Mojave.
