GIRLS SOCCER: Coronado tops Silverado

Caitlin Shannon and Jenson Boman each had a goal and an assist Thursday to lead Coronado’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 home win over Silverado.

Goalkeeper Taylor Book had two saves to earn the shutout for the Cougars (13-1-4), who remained undefeated in the Southeast League at 5-0-1.

Green Valley 1, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Maggie Bender’s second-half goal for the Gators forced a tie against the Falcons.

Amber Risheg scored in the first half for Foothill.

Bonanza 1, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Calista Reyes scored an unassisted goal in the 59th minute to give the Mountain Lions a tie with the Bengals.

Delmy Ordonez scored on an assist from Ashley Vasquez in the 49th minute for Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 9, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Tavin Hays had three goals and two assists, and Hannah Borgel had two goals and two assists to power the Gaels past the Grizzlies.

Caitlyn Rueca and Jensen Garcia each added a goal and an assist for Gorman. Norina Romo and Linda Romo also scored a goal for the Gaels.

Kirsten Kircher and Emilie Hong combined on the shutout.

Canyon Springs 2, Durango 0 — At Durango, De’Imani Davis and Alianna Carrison each had a goal as the Pioneers shut out the Trailblazers.

Moapa Valley 2, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Bailey Bunker and Ashlyn Western each scored a goal to lead the Pirates by the Cowboys.

Ida Velthoven had an assist for Moapa Valley, and Jessica Leon had fives saves in the shutout.

Tech 6, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Melissa Lopez had three goals and an assist as the Roadrunners downed the Dragons.

Valerie Webb scored twice, and teammate Maria Galindo supplied a goal and an assist for Tech. Leslie Santos had three assists for the Roadrunners.

Chloe Dody earned the shutout for Tech.

Virgin Valley 4, Boulder City 1 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnum scored four goals to lead the Bulldogs past the Eagles.

Kennedi Ludvigson and Ally Wright each had an assist for Virgin Valley, which scored three goals in the second half to pull away.

Madison Manns scored Boulder City’s goal.

Eldorado 2, Western 1 — At Eldorado, Brianna Duran scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Sundevils over the Warriors.

Duran scored once on a penalty kick, and the other off an assist from Karla Moncayo.

Laura Arias scored for Western.

Desert Oasis 5, Clark 0 — At Clark, Miah Strellnauer scored four goals as the Diamondbacks routed the Chargers.

Madison Montellano also scored for Desert Oasis, which scored three first-half goals to put the game out of reach.

Audrey Dunn had three assists, and Ashley Wood had two assists for the Diamondbacks.

Goalkeepers Kelsey LeBoeuf and Samantha Gato combined for the shutout. LeBoeuf had six saves, and Gato made four saves.
