GIRLS SOCCER: Chinn, Crusaders rout Wildcats in Las Vegas Kick-Off

Kristi Chinn scored two goals Tuesday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls soccer team to a 4-0 victory over visiting Las Vegas in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Charlotte Vancura and Megan Donnelly also scored for the Crusaders, who got two assists from Dani Tharaldson.

Beka Lescenski made two saves en route to the shutout.

Palo Verde 4, Foothill 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Serenity Grim scored two goals, and Jadyn Nogues notched a goal and an assist as the Panthers downed the Falcons in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Macee Barlow supplied a goal for Palo Verde.

Katherin Ballou tallied two goals for Foothill.

Tech 6, Canyon Springs 3 — At Tech, Alex Guzman racked up four goals and an assist to power the Roadrunners past the Pioneers.

Adrianna Guzman added a goal and an assist, and Abrana Wielgosiak chipped in a goal for Tech, which trailed 2-1 at halftime.

Canyon Springs got a goal apiece from Ashley Borunda, Vanessa McNair and Melissa Pena-Alvarez.

Sierra Vista 4, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Calista Reyes scored three goals to lead the Mountain Lions by the Diamondbacks.

Jasmine Morice added a goal and an assist for Sierra Vista.

Kayla Saucedo converted a penalty kick for Desert Oasis’ goal.

Sunrise Mountain 4, Del Sol 3 — At Sunrise Mountain, Miriam Galvez scored three goals to help the Miners edge the Dragons.

Claudia Salcedo added a goal for Sunrise Mountain.

Stephanie Gonzalez tallied two goals, and Gabriella Gomez also scored for Del Sol.

Silverado 4, Liberty 1 — At Silverado, Rose Covarrubias notched two goals and an assist, and Krista Lee added three assists as the Skyhawks routed the Patriots.

Covarrubias and Mikayla Ahlin scored in the first half to give Silverado a 2-0 halftime lead. Danielle Parven had the other goal for the Skyhawks.

Kylee Thompson scored the only goal for Liberty.

Centennial 1, Basic 0 — At Centennial, Holli Dunn scored in the 20th minute, and the Bulldogs made it stand up in a win over the Wolves.

Centennial’s Karlee Edwards recorded five saves to earn the shutout.

Mojave 1, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mojave, Nancy Lopez’s goal with 15 minutes remaining allowed the Rattlers to tie the Bulldogs.

Abbie Barnum scored a first-half goal for Virgin Valley.

Moapa Valley 3, Adelson School 1 — At Adelson School, Shannon Gongos, Tylee Evans and Rachel Paystrup each scored a goal as the Pirates topped the Lions.

Kelsie Slee scored Adelson’s goal early in the second half.

Bonanza 1, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Guadaluna Chaer’s second-half goal lifted the Bengals by the Grizzlies.

Samantha Haeick earned the shutout for Bonanza.

Rancho 1, Desert Pines 0 — At Rancho, Yesenia Godoy’s first-half goal stood up as the Rams nipped the Jaguars.

MacKensie Pearson recorded the shutout for Rancho.
