GIRLS SOCCER: Centennial rolls to win over Spring Valley

Marcella Brooks scored twice for the Centennial girls soccer team, leading a group of 12 Bulldogs with a goal or an assist in a 9-0 road victory over Spring Valley.

McKenna Stratton, Addison Riddle, Makayla Estrellado, Ashton Benson, Katelyn Levoyer, Brooke Hawley and Quincy Bonds each added a goal for Centennial

Molly Rosas and Jaiden Benson each had a two assists.

Riddle and Shannon Hutchins combined for the five-save shutout.

Arbor View 4, Snow Canyon (Utah) 0 — At Snow Canyon, Utah, Sierra Vicente had a goal and two assists as the Aggies blanked the Warriors.

Melanie Ara, Jolie Meyers and Deja Erickson each scored goals for the Aggies, and Amber Schreiber added an assist.

Goalkeeper Haylee Neimann kept a clean sheet for the Aggies and recorded five saves.

Bishop Gorman 7, Elko 0 — At Reno, Hannah Borgel scored three goals in the first half to help the Gaels rout the Indians in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Jaden Terrana added two goals and an assist, all in the second half, for Gorman, which didn’t play its starters after halftime.

Marissa Garcia had a goal and an assist, and Kristiana Streuber also scored for the Gaels, who got two assists from Tavin Hays.

Kristen Kircher and Emilie Hong combined on the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 5, Damonte Ranch 1 — At Reno, Arlie Jones scored three first-half goals to help the Gaels top the Mustangs in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Tavin Hays and Borgel each added a goal and an assist for Gorman, which led 4-0 at the half and nearly recorded its second shutout of the day before the Mustangs scored as time expired.

Faith Lutheran 4, Spring Creek 0 — At Reno, Madison Sonerholm had two goals and an assist as the Crusaders defeated the Spartans in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Megan Donnelly added a goal and an assist, and Kadyn Lane also scored for Faith Lutheran, which led 3-0 at the half.

Beka Lescenski and Naia Mesalic combined on the shutout.

Galena 3, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Reno, the Grizzlies scored three first-half goals to top the Crusaders in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Donnelly scored Faith Lutheran’s goal.

Liberty 4, Durango 0 — At Durango, the Patriots scored four goals in the second half en route to the victory over the Trailblazers.

Mia Edwards had two goals and an assist. Jordyn Peters and Juliana Jaco each added a goal for Liberty.

Lydia Rankin had two saves in the shutout.

Palo Verde 3, Green Valley 1 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers scored three second-half goals to down the Gators.

Macee Barlow had a goal and an assist for Palo Verde. Gia Barone and Jadyn Nogues each added a goal for the Panthers.

Alexis Kirson scored for Green Valley.
