Top athletes: F Katie Ballou (Jr.), F Tayler Arteaga (Jr.), MF Jillian Vigil (Sr.), MF Hanna Harrison (So.), GK Rachel Kole (Sr.)

Outlook: Nine starters are back from a team that finished one point out of first place in the Southeast League.

Among the returnees are offensive threats in Ballou (29 goals, 14 assists), Arteaga (nine goals, four assists), Vigil (seven goals, four assists) and Harrison (six goals, seven assists).

Kole, who posted five shutouts, returns in goal for the Falcons.

“Each year our program gets more and more competitive,” Guzman said. “This year we are extremely excited about our 12 veterans and new talent on the team. Adding only four new players to our roster, we have developed a strong camaraderie, reliability and trust.

“We expect great results this season and throughout playoffs.”
