SOCCER: Eldorado boys rally to tie Shadow Ridge

Andres Lua and Chris Perez each had two goals and two assists Friday as Eldorado’s boys soccer team rallied from a 3-0 halftime deficit to earn a 4-4 tie at Shadow Ridge.

Blake Damato had two goals and an assist, and Matthew Camacho added a goal and an assist for the Mustangs, who also got a goal from Tyler Lavoie.

Tech 2, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Francisco Garcia and Derian Salcido each had a goal to help the Roadrunners nip the Crusaders.

Tristan Tomburo scored for Faith Lutheran.

Green Valley 5, Sierra Vista 2 — At Green Valley, Austin Quirt had a goal and an assist, and Maliq Cooper had three assists to help the Gators top the Mountain Lions.

Daniel Valdez, Ricardo Nunez, Enzo Trasante and Breno Rocha also scored for Green Valley.

Miles McRae had a goal and an assist, and Srdjan Cvijetic scored for the Mountain Lions.

Western 3, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Eduardo Arellano converted a free kick and a penalty kick to help the Warriors blank the Bulldogs.

Christopher Orellana also scored on a free kick for Western, which netted all three goals in the second half.

The Warriors’ Manuel Guillermo made 11 saves en route to the shutout.

Valley 6, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Derian De La Torre scored three goals to lead the Vikings by the Eagles.

Jonathan Cerda, Eric Sanchez and Abraham Ortiz also scored for Valley.

Erick Morelos made three saves to earn the shutout.

GIRLS

Eldorado 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Eldorado, Kimberly Olivares had two goals to lead the Sundevils by the Mustangs.

Lizbeth Mendoza added a goal for Eldorado, which got a six-save shutout from Hannah Pewtress.

Faith Lutheran 9, Tech 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Kristi Chinn had two goals and three assists, and Dani Tharaldson added two goals and two assists as the Crusaders routed the Roadrunners.

Megan Donnelly scored twice, and Emily Neighbors and Morgan Bracey each had a goal and an assist for Faith Lutheran, which got a goal from Brenna Rohnkohl.

Monica Figerora and Abrana Wielgosiak scored for Tech.

Virgin Valley 5, Western 0 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnum had four goals to lead the Bulldogs by the Warriors.

Taylor Bryant also scored, and Emma Dodenbier had two assists for Virgin Valley.

Spencer Green recorded three saves on her way to the shutout.
