ROUNDUP: Virgin Valley rolls to boys soccer win
Adam Berntsson scored two goals and had three assists Wednesday to lead Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team to a 9-0 win at Moapa Valley.
Joel Medina and William Lara each added two goals and an assist for the Bulldogs.
Pedro Carminatti and John To also scored for Virgin Valley.
Freshman Nathan Lee made three saves to earn the shutout.
GIRLS
Faith Lutheran 5, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Maddie Courvoisier, Hannah Stevens and Kari Moloney each had a goal and an assist as the Crusaders downed the Trojans.
Ahmie Amed and Sydney Spoon each also scored for Faith Lutheran.
Melissa Ewing scored for Pahrump.
