ROUNDUP: Mack’s early goal helps Falcons edge host Gators

Dakota Mack scored in the first half, and Foothill’s boys soccer team made it stand up for a 1-0 road victory over Green Valley on Monday.

Bryan Frentzel had five saves to earn the shutout for the Falcons.

Coronado 5, Liberty 3 — At Liberty, Jordan Yergensen had two goals and an assist, and Parker Rich also scored twice in the second half to rally the Cougars to a win over the Patriots.

Gitai Gazala added a goal and an assist for Coronado, which trailed 1-0 at the half.

Danny Musovski scored twice for Liberty, and Chris Figueroa added a goal for the Patriots.

Valley 2, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Eric Sanchez and Eddie Flores scored to give Valley a 2-0 halftime lead, and the Vikings held on to beat the Jaguars.

Sanchez also had an assist for Valley.

Jesus Lomeli scored for Desert Pines.

Rancho 2, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Rancho, Hector Martinez had a goal and an assist to help the Rams top the Miners.

Aaron Ortiz added a goal for Rancho.

Jonathan Amora had seven saves to pick up the shutout.

Eldorado 5, Canyon Springs 1 — At Eldorado, Ruben Duran scored three goals, and Edgar Duran added a goal and two assists to lift the Sundevils past the Pioneers.

Juan Contreras also scored for Eldorado, and Luis Cruz had two assists.

Ezequiel Chararria scored for Canyon Springs.

Tech 6, Del Sol 1 — At Tech, Oscar Velazquez had a goal and three assists to help the Roadrunners cruise past the Dragons.

Juan Palacios and Fabian Bera each added two goals for Tech, which led 2-0 at halftime. Derian Salcido also scored a goal for the Roadrunners.

Del Sol’s score came on an own goal midway through the second half.

Silverado 6, Basic 2 — At Silverado, Xavier Martinez scored twice to help the Skyhawks top the Wolves.

Dakota Hallaway, Jacob Holquin, Alejandro Sanchez and Oscar Guzman each added a goal for Silverado. Christian Narvaez had three assists for the Skyhawks, who led 3-0 at the half.

Weston Crum and Ishmael Carranza each had a goal for Basic.

Las Vegas 6, Chaparral 0 — At Las Vegas, Rafa Barajas and Gilberto Franco each had two goals and an assist as the Wildcats rolled past the Cowboys.

Jesse Nava and Daniel Nunez each added a goal for Las Vegas.

Enrique Adame and Alejandro Wence combined on the shutout.

GIRLS

Pahrump Valley 5, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Sidney Sladek notched three goals to help the Trojans down the Eagles.

Haley Sladek and Amber Dove each added a goal for Pahrump.

Ashlyn Jorgensen scored for Boulder City.
