ROUNDUP: Berman’s late goal caps Bonanza rally

Frazier Berman scored the winning goal with five minutes remaining Saturday as visiting Bonanza rallied to beat Pahrump Valley 4-3 in a Southwest League boys soccer match.

The Bengals trailed 3-2 at the half but scored twice in the second half to pull out the win.

Berman had two goals for Bonanza. Alex Iorlano and Doug Williamson each added a goal. John Milne had two assists.

Damien Nelson scored twice for the Trojans, and Martin Apolinar also scored.

Durango 4, Sierra Vista 0 — At Durango, Arjenis Bautista scored three goals as the Trailblazers blanked the Mountain Lions.

Jesse Magdaleno also scored for Durango. Francisco Bautista added two assists.

Jorge Arauz recorded the shutout.

Western 12, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, the Warriors had 10 players — including goalkeeper Juan Martinez — score in a rout of the Diamondbacks.

Eric Escalera and Eddie Hernandez each scored two goals. Luis Carbajal, Jeff Diaz, Felipe Medina, Mario Mendoza, Erick Pacheco, Jose Ponez and Edwin Arros also scored.

Martinez recorded a shutout. His goal came on a penalty kick.

Clark 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Clark, Salvador Bernal scored twice in the second half to lift the Chargers past the Grizzlies.

Angelo Soro also scored for Clark, which improved to 6-0-1 in Southwest League play.

Mutaz Alghouleh scored for the Grizzlies.

Eldorado 1, Las Vegas 1 — At Eldorado, Josh Cormier’s goal with eight minutes remaining gave the Sundevils a tie with the Wildcats.

After a scoreless first half, Joaquin Rivas gave the Wildcats the lead 15 minutes into the second half.

White Pine 2, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Johnny Holloway scored twice, including the match-winning goal 15 minutes into the second half, to lift White Pine over the Bulldogs.
