ROUNDUP: Barajas scores late to finish off hat trick, Silverado
Rafael Barajas scored a late goal to break a 3-3 tie and give Las Vegas High’s boys soccer team a 4-3 home victory over Silverado on Monday.
It was the third goal of the game for Barajas.
Daniel Nunez also scored for the Wildcats.
Michael Maldonado, Dakota Hallaway and Christian Narvaez each scored for Silverado.
Cheyenne 4, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Cheyenne, Jackson Collins scored three goals to lead the Desert Shields past the Crusaders.
Collins scored twice in the second half to break a 2-2 tie. Fernando Pena added a goal in the first half for Cheyenne.
D’Khari Hicks scored twice for Faith Lutheran.
