BOYS SOCCER: Sarnataro, Trailblazers shut out Legacy

Paolo Sarnataro made 13 saves Tuesday to allow Durango’s boys soccer team to earn a 1-0 home victory over Legacy.

Giovanni Rodriguez scored 10 minutes into the second half for Durango.

Sunrise Mountain 2, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, Kevin Hernandez scored on an assist from Diego Flores-Diaz in the final minute to give the Dragons a tie with the Miners.

Diego Nieves scored on an assist from Zachary Harter for Del Sol’s first-half goal.

Musio Jimenez-Vazques had a goal and an assist, and Jose Arreola also scored for Sunrise Mountain.

Eldorado 2, Rancho 0 — At Eldorado, goalkeeper Isaac Hernandez had 11 saves to lead the Sundevils to a win over the Rams.

Heriberto Benitez and Eddie Mercado each scored a goal for Eldorado.

Shadow Ridge 4, Palo Verde 2 — At Shadow Ridge, Chase Castro and Miguel Trujillo each scored two goals to help the Mustangs overcome a 2-1 deficit and defeat the Panthers.

Guillermo Nava and Jack Guynn each had an assist for Shadow Ridge.

Presten Manthey scored twice for Palo Verde.

Green Valley 3, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Ricardo Nunez scored two goals to lead the Gators by the Falcons.

Elyjah DeLeon also scored for Green Valley.

Michael Carnahan had a goal for Foothill.

Tech 6, Virgin Valley 0 — At Tech, Francisco Garcia and Eduardo Sanchez each had two goals and an assist to lead the Roadrunners past the Bulldogs.

Joel Velasquez and Ashish Pandey each had a goal and an assist for Tech, and goalkeeper Tyler Harvey recorded the shutout.

Desert Pines 6, Boulder City 1 — At Desert Pines, Oswaldo Medina scored four goals, and Marco Vivero had two goals and an assist as the Jaguars routed the Eagles.

Ricardo Silva and Joel Sanchez each supplied an assist for Desert Pines.

Chaparral 9, Moapa Valley 1 — At Chaparral, Saul Gonzalez, Omar Miranda and Leo Gutierrez each scored two goals to lead the Cowboys past the Pirates.

Ramiro Alvarado, Cesar Mendoza and Miguel Mendoza also scored for Chaparral, and Alvarado also had two assists.

Coronado 12, Basic 1 — At Basic, Preston Judd and Harrison Mirolla each scored three goals as the Cougars routed the Wolves.

John Lynam added two goals, and Nico Glass, Nick Fairchild and Noah Velgos each scored once for Coronado.

Joseph Barnabe scored for the Wolves with an assist from Topias Pennanen.
