BOYS SOCCER: Rattlers rally from halftime deficit, top Crusaders

Bryan Alvarez scored two goals Thursday as Mojave’s boys soccer team stormed back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to post a 4-1 win over visiting Faith Lutheran.

Eduardo Luna had a goal and an assist, and Cristopher Pulido also scored for the Rattlers.

Cole Cunningham scored for the Crusaders.

Bonanza 2, Centennial 1 — At Centennial, Manuel Ponce scored two goals to lead the Bengals past the Bulldogs.

Phillip Hopper scored for Centennial.

Valley 4, Liberty 2 — At Valley, Marco Gonzales scored twice to help the Vikings top the Patriots.

Sebastian Salcido had a goal and an assist, and Alejandro Parra scored for Valley, which got two assists from Eric Sanchez.

Ben Stang and Joey Hollimon each had a goal and an assist for Liberty.

Canyon Springs 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Luis Macias, Jose Gonzalez and Brian Santa Cruz each scored once to lead the Pioneers by the Skyhawks.

Luis Chavez was in goal for the shutout.

Spring Valley 5, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Sergio Borboa and Tyson Perkins each had two goals and two assists to lead the Grizzlies by the Mountain Lions.

Dennis Tayou added a goal and an assist for Spring Valley.

Zekarias Kassaye scored for Sierra Vista.

Western 5, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Isaac Arellano, Martin Vasquez, Nathaniel Reyes, Ramon Perez and Ricardo Gonzalez each scored once as the Warriors topped the Trojans.

Adrian Maldonado scored for Pahrump.

Cimarron-Memorial 8, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Garrick Quackenbush and Ernan Hernandez each scored three goals to lead the Spartans by the Diamondbacks.

Chilo Sanchez added a goal and an assist, and Gustavo Garcia also scored for Cimarron, which got two assists from Omar Garcia.

Izeah Guiao scored twice for Desert Oasis.
