BOYS SOCCER: Pacheco, Mountain Lions edge Mustangs

Joseph Pacheco had a goal and an assist Tuesday to help Sierra Vista’s boys soccer team to a 3-2 home win over Shadow Ridge.

Miles McRae and Dominic Cardenas each added a goal for the Mountain Lions.

Dominic Damato converted a penalty kick in the final minute for the Mustangs and also assisted on Matthew Camacho’s goal.

Green Valley 4, Canyon Springs 3 — At Canyon Springs, Daniel Mojica and Maliq Cooper each had a goal and an assist to help the Gators hold off the Pioneers.

Breno Rocha and Kade Kochevar each scored a goal, and Mark Ocampo supplied two assists for Green Valley.

Luis Macias, Brian Santa Cruz and Jonathan Martinez each had a goal for Canyon Springs.

Liberty 1, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Danny Musovski’s goal with two minutes left lifted the Patriots past the Falcons.

Joey Schibetta was in goal for the shutout.

Arbor View 1, Durango 0 — At Durango, Justin McCabe’s first-half goal stood up as the Aggies nipped the Trailblazers.

Nathan Bohn earned the shutout for Arbor View.

Las Vegas 1, Silverado 0 — At Las Vegas, Ricardo Guzman scored with six minutes left in the match to give the Wildcats a win over the Skyhawks.

Miguel Naverrete made 10 saves to earn the shutout for Las Vegas.

Palo Verde 6, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Adam Afromsky scored twice, and Nolan Sherwood added a goal and two assists to lead the Panthers by the Grizzlies.

Griffin Mallas, Austin Pollster and Matt Thomas also scored for Palo Verde, which got three assists from Austin Manthey.

Sergio Borboa scored for Spring Valley.

Valley 6, Rancho 2 — At Rancho, Marco Gonzalez and Eric Sanchez each scored twice to lead the Vikings over the Rams.

Alejandro Parra and Sebastian Salcedo each added a goal for Valley.

Rancho’s David Russell had a goal and an assist, and teammate Christopher Rodriguez-Clavel scored a goal.

Coronado 6, Del Sol 0 — At Coronado, Tyler Goldstein had two goals and an assist to help the Cougars defeat the Dragons.

Jalen Randolph also scored two goals, and Justin Lyons had a goal and an assist for Coronado, which also got a goal from Viet Nguyen.

Kaviyon Sadrolashrafi earned the shutout for the Cougars.

Eldorado 11, Basic 0 — At Basic, Israel Hernandez had three goals and two assists, Chris Perez had two goals and three assists, and Edgar Duran notched two goals and two assists as the Sundevils blitzed the Wolves.

Gabriel Pedraza, Eddie Mercado, Alexis Soto and Darwin Didiales each supplied a goal, and Victor Damian had two assists for Eldorado.

Sammy Tapia had five saves to earn the shutout.
