BOYS SOCCER: Mario Rocha’s hat trick helps Eldorado edge Mojave

Mario Rocha had three goals, and Eldorado’s boys soccer team held off visiting Mojave for a 4-3 victory on Tuesday.

Angello Jorquera also scored for the Sundevils, who led 3-1 halftime.

Eldorado’s Jesus Meza assisted on two of Rocha’s goals, and teammate Andres Mendoza added an assist.

Luis Martinez, Chris Reyes and Omar Serrano scored for the Rattlers, who got within one goal on two occasions in the second half. Mojave’s Anibal Ponce added an assist.

Valley 2, Tech 1 — At Valley, Anthony Navarro-Marquez netted two first-half goals to help the Vikings edge the Roadrunners.

Navarro-Marquez scored on a free kick, and Adam Dumo assisted on his other goal for Valley.

Agustin Nunez scored Tech’s goal.

Palo Verde 3, Green Valley 1 — At Palo Verde, Timothy Stevens, Presten Manthey and Nick Frost each had a goal to lead the Panthers over the Gators.

Anthony Kaskie and Michael Vogel each added an assist for Palo Verde, which held a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Dante Marinaro scored in the second half for Green Valley.

Silverado 2, Spring Valley 0 — At Silverado, David Matias-Flores and Joel Samoyoa each had a first-half goal as the Skyhawks topped the Grizzlies.

Landon Schmucker made five saves to get the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 4, Sierra Vista 1 — At Cimarron, Arturo Bahena had two goals and an assist to lead the Spartans past the Mountain Lions.

Miguel Rubio and Jimi Villasenor each added a goal and an assist for Cimarron, which led 3-1 at halftime.

Calvin Aguirre scored for Sierra Vista.

Desert Oasis 2, Boulder City 0 — At Desert Oasis, Dawson Brandt made seven saves as the Diamondbacks shut out the Eagles.

Dakota Jersic and Blake Whittlesy scored, and Ivan Biorato and Ethan Kovach added assists on the Desert Oasis goals.

Western 4, Legacy 1 — At Western, Julio Flores scored twice to help the Warriors down the Longhorns.

Juan Arredondo-Alvarez and David Ginsburg also had goals for Western, which led 2-1 at halftime.

Juan Estrada and Christian Macias each had an assist for the Warriors.

Pahrump Valley 7, Moapa Valley 2 — At Pahrump, Jose Pelayo had two goals and an assist, and Paul Holmes added a goal and two assists to help the Trojans top the Pirates.

Bailey Crawford had a goal and an assist, and Jesus Amador, Carlos Ortega and Daniel Ortuno also scored for Pahrump, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Sergio Sanchez finished with two assists, and Jose Montes also had an assist for the Trojans.
