BOYS SOCCER: Dongmann scores late, lifts Aggies by Cheyenne

Niko Dongmann scored his second goal of the match with just more than a minute to play Thursday to lift host Arbor View's boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Cheyenne.

Josey Zapata converted a penalty kick in the first half for the Desert Shields.

Liberty 1, Valley 0 — At Liberty, Joey Hollimon scored early in the second half, off an assist from Colton Cox, to lift the Patriots over the Vikings.

Justin Lutes made six saves to get the shutout.

Sierra Vista 2, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Kebba Jobe scored once in each half, and the Mountain Lions held on to nip the Grizzlies.

Jose Lopez scored for Spring Valley.

Centennial 2, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Jacob Mecham and Manny Lopez each scored to lead the Bulldogs by the Bengals.

Manuel Ponce converted a penalty kick in the first half for Bonanza.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Desert Oasis 1 — At Cimarron, Arturo Bahena, Christian Paongo and Jonathon Ornelas each scored once to lead the Spartans by the Diamondbacks.

Diego Hidalgo converted a penalty kick for Desert Oasis.

Canyon Springs 3, Silverado 1 — At Canyon Springs, Juan Covarrubias, Ramon Urias-Medina and Eduardo Quintero each scored once as the Pioneers downed the Skyhawks.

Jesse Dominguez scored for Silverado.

Mojave 7, Faith Lutheran 3 — At Faith Lutheran, Antonio Perez scored five goals to lead the Rattlers past the Crusaders.

Gabriel Sanchez-Gonzalez had a goal and two assists, and Eduardo Luna-Ruiz also scored for Mojave, which got two assists from Jose Arevalo.

Conner Frame had two goals, and Harut Khachoyan scored for Faith Lutheran.

Western 7, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Western, Ricardo Gonzalez and Guillaume Chevalier each scored twice to lead the Warriors by the Trojans.

Federico Romano had a goal and an assist, and Carlos Bautista-Martinez and Isaac Arellano each scored once for Western, which got two assists from Leonel Acosta-Trevizo.

Jose Anaya made two saves en route to the shutout.
