BOYS SOCCER: Delangel-Parra nets penalty kick to lift Durango by Foothill

Marcos Delangel-Parra converted a penalty kick with 30 minutes remaining in the match Friday to give Durango's boys soccer team a 1-0 win at Foothill.

Paolo Sarnataro made seven saves to record the shutout for the Trailblazers.

Canyon Springs' Edgar Donate converted a penalty kick earlier in the second half.

Rancho 1, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Ricardo Galvan's goal midway through the second half lifted the Rams by the Patriots.

Angel Alvarez-Walker made four saves to earn the shutout.

Palo Verde 3, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Josh Fowler, Teagan Jarvis and Presten Manthey each scored once to help the Panthers top the Rattlers.

Anthony Kaskie had two assists for Palo Verde.

Eduardo Luna-Ruiz scored for Mojave.

Coronado 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Michael Ocoro scored twice to lead the Cougars by the Longhorns.

John Lynam also scored for Coronado.

Nicolas Farinas and Giofranco Capriossi combined on the shutout.

Del Sol 4, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Sergio Calderon scored twice, and Diego Nieves added a goal and two assists as the Dragons downed the Jaguars.

Ruben Ortiz also scored for Del Sol.

Western 4, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Western, Ricardo Gonzalez scored twice, and the Warriors blanked the Crusaders.

Chaparral 6, Virgin Valley 1 — At Chaparral, Jose Morales scored three goals to help the Cowboys top the Bulldogs.

Sunrise Mountain 8, Boulder City 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Musio Jimenez-Vazquez scored three goals, and Ismael Arambula added two goals to lead the Miners past the Eagles.

Jonso Jimenez added a goal and an assist, and Gustavo Gomez and Benjamin Rodriguez each scored once for Sunrise Mountain, which got two assists from Cristian Cerritteno.
