Cobi DeLeon scored two goals Friday to carry Bishop Gorman’s boys soccer team to a 3-2 win over T.C. Roberson (North Carolina) in the Smoky Mountain Cup in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Justin Rasmussen also scored for the Gaels.
Brandon Malek and Corrigan Neville each had an assist for Gorman.
Canyon Springs 3, Mojave 0 — At Canyon Springs, Edgar Quintero-Rodriguez had two goals to lead the Pioneers past the Rattlers.
Arturo Gonzalez had the other goal for Canyon Springs, and teammate Edgar Donate had two assists.
Gabrial Acosta made two saves in the shutout.
Durango 2, Valley 2 — At Valley, Jonathan Cerda’s second-half goal helped the Vikings earn a draw against the Trailblazers.
Cerda added an assist for the Vikings, who also got a goal from Josh Cloyd.
Jamie Munguia and Anthony Sotelo each scored for Durango.
Tech 2, Western 2 — At Western, the Roadrunners scored two second-half goals to tie Western, 2-2.
Tech’s Joel Velazquez scored a goal and recorded an assist. Andres Santana also scored for the Roadrunners.
David Ginsburg scored 2 goals for the Warriors and his goals were assisted by Juan Arredondo-Alvarez and Angel Gutierrez-Montes.
