Top athletes: F Juan Estrada (Sr.), MF Gustavo Sanchez (Sr.), D Jose Muniz (Sr.)
Outlook: Estrada (25 goals, 12 assists) and Sanchez (11 goals, 6 assists) will be among the leaders on offense, and Muniz is back to help anchor the defense for the Warriors, who advanced to the Southern Region semifinals last year.
In all, 16 lettermen are back for Western.
“With a lot of returning players, our team expectation remains to play an enjoyable style of soccer and be the best team in Nevada at the end of October so we can challenge for a division, region, and state championship,” Pippin said.
