Outlook: The Jaguars bring back 14 lettermen, including a pair of talented forwards in Sanchez (39 goals, 9 assists) and Santillan (11 goals, 15 assists). Zamilpa (6 goals, 10 assists) also will be looked to for leadership, as will Lujan and Matamoros.
“We have been moved up to (Class) 4A, and the challenge this year is to be competitive at this level,” Whitmoyer said. “I have several very strong returners and some new young men who should be an asset to the team as well.”
