Outlook: The Patriots are coming off a big season, but have to replace leading scorer Danny Musovski, who had 58 goals last year.

“Like all the other teams, our expectations are high, and the team is motivated with our upcoming challenges,” said Rivera, who steps up to the varsity after spending the last two years as the junior varsity coach. “With the Clark County School District’s new realignment structure, our hope is to make an immediate impact, as we continue our quest to a high seed in the playoffs.
“We may lack in depth, but our work ethic may just be what we need to make our run toward a state title. As always, only time will tell, and we do believe we have the faith to make this goal a reality.”
