Adam Domaracki placed third and Mitchell Abbot finished fourth to help the Bishop Gorman boys golf team win a Southwest League match Monday at Canyon Gate.

Domaracki shot an 8-over par 80, and Abbot shot an 82 for the Gaels, who finished with 418 as a team. Sierra Vista was second with 459, and Desert Oasis placed third with 485.

Morgan Cooper of Desert Oasis carded a 77 to earn medalist honors. Spring Valley’s Ryan Handley finished second with 79.

Bishop Gorman and Coronado tied for the Class 5A Southern Region golf title last week and are favored to win the state tournament, which begins Tuesday.
