ARBOR VIEW — Wrestler Tyler Roper placed first at 152 pounds at the Mile High Challenge in Prescott, Ariz. Flag football player Melanie Ara rushed for 103 yards and scored the winning touchdown in the second overtime in a 15-8 victory over Rancho.

BONANZA — Girls basketball player Jazzmon Ferguson had a team-high nine points against Desert Oasis. Wrestler Elias Aguilar was 7-0 and placed first at 220 pounds at the Bulldog Grappler at Centennial.

BOULDER CITY — Flag football player Tara Cox had six catches for 81 yards and three TDs against Moapa Valley.

CORONADO — Boys bowler Keaton Burris set a personal record with a 232 game in a 9-0 victory over Green Valley.

DESERT OASIS — Boys basketball team manager Ron Chan played and scored his first four varsity points in a 72-48 win over Bonanza. Flag football player Dominique Korshchinowski had an interception to preserve a 6-0 victory over Arbor View. She also had eight tackles and deflected five passes.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Wrestler Peter Enos went 5-0 to win the 132-pound title at the Peoria (Ariz.) Invitational.

MOJAVE — Wrestler Don Phillips improved his season record to 29-4 at 220 pounds. Flag football player Paige Smith rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in a 40-27 win over Spring Valley.

PALO VERDE — Wrestler Josh Pine went 5-1 to finish third at 160 pounds at the Gut Check Challenge tournament in Seattle.

RANCHO — Wrestler Jeffrey Camal improved to 23-5 on the season at 113 pounds.

SIERRA VISTA — Wrestler Andrew Dunn won 182-pound league matches against Clark and Mojave.

SILVERADO — Boys basketball player Tyric Johnson had a total of 30 points, seven rebounds, four assists and nine steals in league victories over Valley and Las Vegas.
