Alexis Gourrier, Centennial

The junior won the junior-senior race at the Falcon Invitational at Foothill with a time of 18 minutes, 29.9 seconds for 3.1 miles. Gourrier helped the Bulldogs roll to the team title with 18 points.

Cesar Barron-Rodriguez, Canyon Springs

The senior booted a pair of 30-yard field goals, including one in overtime that gave the Pioneers a 33-30 victory over then-No. 6 Basic.

Carolyn Lemon, Western

The freshman took medalist honors in two Sunset League matches, shooting 82 at Las Vegas Golf Club and 87 in windy conditions at Mountain Falls Golf Club in Pahrump.

Diego Nieves, Del Sol

The senior forward led the Dragons to wins over Tech and Moapa Valley with three goals and an assist in each game.

GIRLS SOCCER

Macee Barlow, Palo Verde

The senior forward scored the only goal with 15 minutes remaining in a 1-0 win over Centennial and also had a second-half goal to help the Panthers tie four-time defending state champion Arbor View, 1-1.

Andre Papas, Boulder City

The junior only played once last week because of a forfeit, going 3-0 against Moapa Valley, and he has yet to lose a singles set this season.

Averiana Mitchell, Durango

Despite three team losses, the junior went 9-0 in singles last week, and collected all three of her team’s points on Thursday against Bishop Gorman.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Karime Raygoza, Rancho

The senior had 11 kills, four aces and eight digs in a 3-0 Northeast League win over Valley and finished with 17 kills and 17 digs in the Rams’ 3-2 victory over Desert Oasis.

ARBOR VIEW — Boys cross country runner Noah Ayala placed first in the freshman-sophomore race at the Las Vegas Invitational. Girls soccer player Deja Erickson had scored one goal against Cimarron-Memorial and one against Palo Verde.

BONANZA — Girls volleyball player Sofia Pesci had four kills and a block against Desert Oasis.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Boys soccer player Arturo Bahena had eight goals to lead the Spartans to wins over Legacy, Arbor View and Faith Lutheran.

CORONADO — Boys cross country runner Nathan Cromwell finished second in a nine-team race at Sonata Park with a time of 15 minutes, 48 seconds for 2.8 miles.

DURANGO — Boys soccer goalkeeper Paolo Sarnataro helped key the defense in a 2-1 win over Bonanza.

ELDORADO — Girls volleyball player Kianna Parkes had 12 digs against Las Vegas, and 22 digs and four aces against Canyon Springs.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Football player Clay Shipley had 16 tackles and blocked an extra point against Arbor View. Girls volleyball player Sydney Washington had a total of 16 kills and four blocks in matches against Arbor View, Shadow Ridge and Cimarron-Memorial.

GREEN VALLEY — Defensive end Brock Hershberger had six tackles and two sacks in a 65-0 win over Eldorado, and now has eight sacks on the year. Girls volleyball player Abby Olsen had a total of 55 assists, six aces, eight kills and 10 digs in wins over Foothill and Liberty.

LEGACY — Girls tennis player Emma Shepherd was 3-0 in singles against Arbor View. Boys tennis player Willie Valdez went 3-0 in singles against Arbor View.

LIBERTY — Girls soccer player Jada Kirkwood had a goal with five minutes remaining in a 1-0 win over Basic.

MOJAVE — Boys cross country runner James Fincher placed 21st in the junior-senior race at the Falcon Invitational at Foothill with a time of 17 minutes, 38 seconds for 3.1 miles.

MOUNTAIN VIEW — Football player Terrence Brooks had five catches for 102 yards against Needles. Girls volleyball player Miah Fields-Gibbens had 19 digs against Lake Mead.

PAHRUMP VALLEY — Girls golfer Jessica Pearson shot 114 at Mountain Falls to help the Trojans win a Sunset League match. Boys cross country runner Jacob Cipollini set a personal record at the Falcon Invitational with a time of 18 minutes, 26 seconds.

PALO VERDE — Girls cross country runner Emma Wahlenmaier finished second in the Division II girls race at the Dana Hills (California) Invitational with a time of 17 minutes, 35 seconds for 3 miles. Boys soccer goalkeeper Levi Lord recorded his fifth shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Arbor View.

SANDY VALLEY — Football player Brandon Eastham completed 7 of 10 passes for 179 yards and four TDs and rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns in a 46-12 win over Indian Springs. Girls volleyball player Samantha Robinson had 10 aces, 21 kills and eight digs in a 3-2 win over Indian Springs.

SIERRA VISTA — Girls cross country runner Baileigh Sundin placed fourth in the junior-senior race at the Falcon Invitational at Foothill with a time of 19 minutes, 58.6 seconds for 3.1 miles. Football player Uastine Asuncion had three tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble in a 17-6 win over Clark.

VIRGIN VALLEY — Girls soccer player Abbie Barnum had nine goals and an assist to help the Bulldogs defeat Boulder City, Chaparral and Moapa Valley.
