The senior won a 2.86-mile race at Sonata Park with a time of 15 minutes, 20 seconds.

Sadie Oakley, Faith Lutheran

The senior won the 3.1-mile race at the Moapa Valley Invitational with a time of 20 minutes, 40 seconds.

Tawee Walker, Mojave

The junior rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries and threw a touchdown pass in a 38-20 home win over Moapa Valley. Walker also had seven tackles/

Girls golf

Riana Mission, Clark

The freshman shot 4-under-par 68 in a Southwest League match at Siena on Monday to help the Chargers to a second-place team finish. Mission won the seven-team event by eight strokes.

John Lynam, Coronado

The senior had eight goals and two assists in three games last week, including two goals and an assist in the Cougars’ 3-1 victory over nationally ranked Palo Verde.

Alexandra Trinidad, Sunrise Mountain

The junior had eight goals and two assists in two games last week, including six goals in an 8-3 victory over Desert Pines.

The sophomore was perfect in four matches last week to help Palo Verde to an 8-1 record this season.

Andrada and Ariana Stanciu, Sierra Vista

The sisters posted an unbeaten singles record in three of their four matches last week, and have the Mountain Lions off to a 6-4 start this season.

The senior totaled 67 assists and nine aces in wins over Chaparral and Virgin Valley and helped the Pirates win a pair of matches in the Durango Fall Classic.
