The senior won the junior-senior boys race at the Labor Day Classic at Palo Verde, covering 3.1 miles in 16 minutes, 40 seconds.

Alexis Gourrier, Centennial

The senior won the junior-senior girls race by more than a minute at the Labor Day Classic at Palo Verde, posting a time of 19 minutes, 44 seconds for 3.1 miles.

Jordan Norwood, Cimarron-Memorial

The sophomore rushed for 319 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries in a 42-19 home win over Del Sol.

Girls Golf

McKenzi Hall, Centennial

The freshman tied for medalist honors Tuesday with a 36 in a win over Bishop Gorman at Paiute and also finished first on Wednesday with a 1-under 35 in the Bulldogs’ win over Clark at Angel Park.

Boys Soccer

Sergio Aguayo, Las Vegas

The freshman had eight goals and three assists in a rout of Cheyenne. He helped the Wildcats go 4-0 last week and ended the week in the Southern Nevada lead for goals with 16, and tied for the lead with six assists.

Gabriella Lancaster, Legacy

The junior scored nine goals, including five against Bonanza, to help the Longhorns go 3-0 last week.

Costandinos Pappas, Silverado

The junior posted a 3-0 record in a 12-6 victory over Las Vegas. He was also 3-0 in an 11-7 loss to Liberty.

Annelisa Laizure and Ruby Valencia, Valley

The doubles team posted a 3-0 mark against Basic to lift the Vikings to a 10-8 victory.

Girls Volleyball

Aaliah Largusa, Palo Verde

The senior outside hitter had a total of 23 kills in nonleague wins over Silverado and Coronado and led the Panthers to a 5-3 record in the Las Vegas Invitational.
