Williams, Hartman help Sundevils take ‘Cleat Game’

Eldorado's JaQuorrey Williams scored on a 2-yard keeper in overtime and Chynna Hartman kicked the extra point, lifting the Sundevils (4-3, 3-2 Northeast) to a 28-27 win over Chaparral (0-7, 0-5) in the “Cleat Game” rivalry.
Wilber Claros made the play of the game, blocking Chaparral’s extra-point attempt in overtime after Karlventz Thegenus scored on a 4-yard run.
The Cowboys pulled within 21-19 with 5:53 left in the regulation when Jacob Barr connected with Corey Hockin on a 30-yard pass on fourth-and-14. Barr hooked up with Hockin again for a 2-point conversion to tie the game at 21-21
JaQuorrey Williams did it all for Eldorado. He rushed for three touchdowns, threw for another and had one of the Sundevils’ defense’s three interceptions.
