Virgin Valley blanks Chaparral

Dee Bowler rushed for two touchdowns, and DeVonte Milligan returned the second-half kickoff for a touchdown Friday to help Virgin Valley's football team to a 35-0 win over visiting Chaparral.

Bowler rushed for 31 yards on seven carries. Junior Paongo added 55 yards and a touchdown on six carries for Virgin Valley (5-0, 1-0 Sunrise League), which led 22-0 at the half.

Bulldogs’ quarterback Garrett Leavitt completed 11 of 18 passes for 153 yards and one touchdown.

Chaparral is 2-3, 0-1.
