The Meadows blows out West Wendover, wraps up league title

The Meadows (8-1, 7-0 2A Southern) built a 42-0 halftime lead en route to a 42-6 win over visiting West Wendover on Thursday.

The win wrapped up an outright league title.

The Meadows quarterback Garrett Gosse threw all four of his touchdown passes in the first quarter and finished 8-for-11 for 183 yards.

The Meadows’ Dylan Lee caught four passes for 92 yards, including TDs of 30 and 36 yards. Mike Kenny carried six times for 69 yards and one TD.

Richard Lee had two of The Meadows’ four interceptions on defense.

The lone score for West Wendover (0-9, 0-7) came on a 24-yard pass from Adan Chavez to Josh Earl in the fourth quarter.
