Coleville’s Emmi Sandoval caught nine passes for 301 yards and seven touchdowns as the Wolves (11-0) rolled to a 64-13 victory over visiting Indian Springs (7-3) in a Class 1A state semifinal Saturday.
Sandoval had TD receptions of 51, 70, 23 and 50 yards from Seth Huhta. He also had TD runs of 8 and 5 yards, and returned a free kick following a safety 55 yards for a score. He finished with 55 yards on six carries.
Coleville plays Pahranagat Valley in the 1A title game at 1 p.m. Saturday at Arbor View.
Indian Springs’ Adam Reinke had a 1-yard TD run and hit Xavier Pena with a 27-yard scoring pass, both in the second quarter, to account for the Thunderbirds’ scoring.
Pena’s TD catch cut the Coleville lead to 22-13, but the Wolves scored 42 unanswered points to seal the win.
Reinke completed only 5 of 20 passes for 131 yards, and the Thunderbirds were held to 30 yards on the ground.
