Reed’s score leaves Del Sol unbeaten

Del Sol's Dezerick Reed scored the only touchdown on a 25-yard run in the first minute of the fourth quarter to lift the Dragons (7-0) to a 6-0 home win over Centennial (3-5) on Friday.
Reed’s run capped a nine-play, 90-yard drive that began late in the third quarter.
Reed led all rushers with 206 yards on 28 carries.
With less than three minutes to play, the Bulldogs recovered a fumble on their 26-yard line. After an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty gave Centennial a first down at the 41, quarterback Cody Clark and Christoper Henderson hooked up for a 42-yard pass to the Dragons 13 with 1:39 to play.
But two false start penalties stalled the Bulldogs’ final drive, and a last-second pass from Clark to Taj Cole from the 8 was dropped in the end zone.
