Poulsen, Panthers win 54th straight

Pahranagat Valley's Austin Poulsen rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on three carries, completed 8 of 10 passes for 150 yards and two TDs and made an interception at cornerback to lead the Panthers (8-0, 6-0 Division IV Southern) to a 58-8 home win over Beatty (1-6, 1-5) on Thursday to extend their state-record winning streak to 54 games.

Pahranagat’s Wade Leavitt ran for 112 yards and two TDs and made an interception for Pahranagat, which led 52-0 at halftime.

Tyson Sparrow had seven receptions for 143 yards and a TD for the Panthers, and Jeremy Minick had eight tackles and an interception.
