Portaro compiles 364 yards of offense as Crusaders cruise past Rattlers

Faith Lutheran quarterback Joe Portaro compiled 364 all-purpose yards and the Crusaders (4-2, 2-2 Northwest) rolled to a 45-0 home victory over Mojave (0-5, 0-4) on Friday.

Portaro passed for 259 yards on 15-for-30 and ran for 105 yards on 12 carries, including a 19-yard TD. He threw scoring passes of 52 yards to Brad Pearson and 26 to Brett Lubbe, and also kicked a 38-yard field goal.

Pearson also scored on a 35-yard fumble return.

Mojave running back Bryant Lewis had 97 total yards.
