Mora, Trailblazers coast past Mountain Lions

Durango's Julio Mora rushed for 172 yards, including touchdowns of 12, 5 and 35 yards, and the seventh-ranked Trailblazers (6-1, 5-0 Southwest) coasted to a 41-14 win over Sierra Vista (1-5, 1-3) on Friday.
Durango senior Chase Roberts completed 8 of 10 passes for 144 yards, highlighted by a 92-yard hook-up with Donovan Smith in the fourth quarter.
Smith also ran for a 35-yard touchdown, and Antonio Nieves had a 32-yarder.
Durango’s defense limited the Mountain Lions to 152 total yards. Gene Germaine ran for a 22-yard scor,e and Latwoyn Pate supplied a 13-yarder.
