Mitchell scores early as Virgin Valley routs Boulder City

Virgin Valley's Kai Mitchell ran for two touchdowns in the first five minutes of the game Friday as the Bulldogs rolled to a 70-13 home victory over Boulder City.
Jaret Tietjen and Josh Bishop each ran for two touchdowns for Virgin Valley (4-5, 2-4 Sunrise League), which led 49-10 at the half.
Tietjen finished with 9 carries for 75 yards to lead Virgin Valley, which attempted just two passes. Sergio Gonzalez added a 37-yard TD run, and Jarron Linge had a 56-yard scoring run for the Bulldogs.
Boulder City fell to 1-8, 0-6.
