Mason’s fourth-quarter TD gives Western win

Western's Tadarrel Mason rushed for 143 yards on 18 carries, including a go-ahead 6-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors beat host Sunrise Mountain 14-7 on Friday.
Western trailed 7-2 at halftime, but rallied with two touchdowns in the fourth. Allen Davis added a 7-yard score and had 41 yards on 10 carries.
The Warriors’ defense allowed only 41 yards in the second half and 144 total.
Damarcus McCullum gave Sunrise Mountain a 7-0 lead with a 65-yard run in the second quarter, comprising the bulk of his 86 yards on eight carries.
