Bonanza’s Dasean Martin scored four touchdowns, two on long passes by Sterling Sprau, and the Bengals (2-3, 2-2 Southwest) never trailed in a 64-21 home victory over Pahrump Valley (0-5, 0-3) on Friday.
Sprau and Martin hooked up for a 53-yard TD on the first offensive play and added an 85-yard score. Martin also rushed for TDs of 20 and 27 yards, and Sprau ran for scores of 38, 18 and 47 while accounting for 457 of Bonanza’s 577 yards.
Pahrump Valley got rushing touchdowns by Jonathan Mitchell (4 yards), Josh Harvey (4) and Brandon Murphy (12). The Trojans lost their 23rd consecutive game.
