Luke Bennett threw three touchdown passes on Friday as Moapa Valley’s football team rolled to a 48-6 home victory over Sunrise Mountain.

Bennett completed 8 of 16 passes for 148 yards, and Braeden St. John added 10 carries for 115 yards and two TDs for the Pirates (6-1, 2-0 Sunrise League).

Derek Reese caught two touchdown passes, and Hayden Redd hauled in a TD pass for Moapa Valley, which is ranked No. 1 in Class 3A. The Pirates took a 27-0 lead at the half.

Sunrise Mountain fell to 1-5, 0-1.
