Leavitt, Virgin Valley rally past Cheyenne

Garrett Leavitt tossed three touchdown passes, and Virgin Valley rallied in the second half for a 33-18 victory over Cheyenne (0-2) on Saturday at Mesquite.

Leavitt, who completed 13 of 18 passes for 225 yards, tossed two touchdown passes to Dillon Graves and hooked up with Tony Urias on a 57-yard scoring pass.

Dee Bowler had TD runs of 1 and 3 yards for Virgin Valley (2-0), which trailed 12-7 at halftime. Bowler finished with 101 yards on nine carries as the Bulldogs rolled up 466 yards of total offense.
