Leavitt, Panthers rout Spring Mountain

Wade Leavitt rushed for 238 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries Friday to help Pahranagat Valley's football team to a 54-22 home win over Spring Mountain.

Tabor Maxwell completed 11 of 16 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns, including a 99-yard scoring pass to Jordan Cryts as the Panthers (5-0, 2-0 Division IV Southern League) collected their nation's-best 62nd consecutive victory.

Shawn Wadsworth had three catches for 138 yards and two scores for the Panthers, who led 34-16 at the half.

Valmir Bojku had a 99 yard interception return for a touchdown and caught a 31-yard TD pass from Joshua Banasiak to lead Spring Mountain (1-1, 0-1).
