Flanagan, Virgil lead Aggies past Mojave

Arbor View seniors Thomas Flanagan and DeMarlo Virgil each rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Aggies (6-4, 4-4 Northwest) to a 45-0 home win over Mojave (2-7, 1-7) on Thursday.

Flanagan had a 33-yard TD run in the second quarter and a 42-yard TD in the third. Virgil capped the scoring with an 11-yard TD run and a 36-yard scoring scamper in the third quarter.

Flanagan and Virgil each had 10 carries, with Flanagan gaining 144 yards and Virgil 116.

The Aggies held the Rattlers to 43 yards rushing. Arbor View totaled 331 yards in its final game of the season.

Senior Demon Scurry returned a punt 83 yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter to give the Aggies a a 24-0 halftime lead.

Quarterback Kyler Neilson opened the scoring for Arbor View with a 1-yard keeper in the first quarter.

MacKenzie Karas kicked a 23-yard field goal in the second quarter for the Aggies.
