Quarterback Jerome Williamson completed all six of his passes for 139 yards, including a 74-yard bomb to Seitu Wyche late in the third quarter, as Chaparral’s football team routed visiting Rancho, 48-0 on Thursday.

Williamson also rushed for 60 yards, scoring on a 29-yarder late in the third for the game’s final score.

Backup tailback Richard Nelson had two touchdown runs of 94 and 45 yards called back because of penalties but still finished with 84 yards on the ground. Kicker Adrian Zarate nailed six of seven PATs.

The Cowboys (3-3) scored twice on defense in the second quarter. Torin Owolabi scooped up the ball after a blocked punt and ran it in for 18 yards, and Acosta picked off a Yasser Rebolledo pass and ran it back 56 yards for a score.
